The time has come....

That i have to start thinking about switching my buns and piggies food. They currently eat oxbow (the best) but its getting expensive. Well its always been expensive lol,but the way work is going for me and my dad,cant afford it much longer. Now to decide what to switch them to. I know timmy pellets are the best for adult buns,but what if you cant afford it anymore? I am good for like...awhile...lol..So i have some time to look. Any bun or pig food you can buy in bulk is alfalfa. Nobody has timmy like that. Not that ive seen anyways. My buns used to be on purina (the green bag). I am considering big red from agway,or maybe purina again. Not sure if they have piggy food though. And where to get it? Urgh....

I totally understand your dilemma my dear. We cant afford the really expensive stuff either. We just make do with what we can. Check feed stores and see if any of the pig pellets they carry have timothy hay in it and not alfalfa.

Yeah..good luck with that one though,cause well most feed places dont carry timmy. I think as long as they are limit fed like they are,it wont be a big deal. It was either change their pellets or cut out veggies/fruits. I dont wanna do that to them,so pellets it is lol.

yeah the timmy hay and veggies/fruits is more important anyways.

I wouldnt about it to much dear. As long as they are getting veggies, fruits and timmy hay thats the most imporant thing.
